Lessons
The number of lessons required before taking a LAMDA exam is 10-12 depending on the level of the exam, the student's ability and the student's commitment.
A weekly lesson without significant gaps is generally needed before entering for a LAMDA exam.
All my students have passed with a Merit or Distinction result for the past ten years.
Students taking the Introductory, Entry and Grades 1-5 generally only require a 30-minute lesson. Lessons may be shared with siblings as solo or duos (depending on the ages of both students, suitability of subjects and grade/s being taken).
Students taking grades 6,7, and 8 may need longer weekly lessons and may benefit from booking a weekly 1-hour lesson, should they wish to take their exam in a shorter time frame as Medal grades generally require 2 terms of study.
Medal Grades (6,7 and 8) are at the same standard as GCSE, A/S Level, and A-Level exams regulated by OFQUAL.
